PixList, operated by OpenNova LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), operates the website pixlist.org and related services. Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (managed securely by our authentication provider, Clerk).

eBay Account Data: When you connect your eBay account, we store an encrypted OAuth token to post listings on your behalf. We do not store your eBay password.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Photos & Listing Data: Photos you upload and listings we generate are stored to provide our service. You retain ownership of all photos you upload.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use PixList, including pages visited, features used, and listing generation activity. This helps us improve the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve PixList
  • To generate eBay listings from your uploaded photos using AI
  • To post listings to eBay on your behalf when you authorize it
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • To enforce our terms and prevent abuse

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate PixList:

  • Clerk — Authentication and user management
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • eBay API — Listing creation and management on your behalf
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered item identification and listing generation
  • Vercel — Website hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only as necessary to provide our services (e.g., sending your photo to our AI for analysis, posting listings to eBay via their API, processing payments through Stripe). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Listing data and photos are retained for 90 days after generation to allow you to review and reuse them. Payment records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive information (such as eBay OAuth tokens), secure HTTPS connections, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
